How long have you been doing music and how did it all start?

This is my 3rd official year...i launched my first album on 3rd December of 2017....

How would you describe your style of music?

i began as a poet,transformed to Hiphop,to kapukha ,ziuk and now im getting into Worship...i believe i'm more of a Gospel Music Minister....because of the journey in music doing different Genres…

What was the name of this album and how many songs did it have?

its titled #Nakutazamia it had 7 tracks

Tell us about your latest song

this is a song declaring the love of God over my life and every other person..on it i also describe how he's remained to be faithful....since he knew me before i was born..

 

Tell us about your songwriting process... Do you write all your songs?

mostly I get inspiration from real life issues and I also tell my own experiences...I compose my own music but I also work with different song writers…

Do you have a song that's dear to you among all your songs?

i believe each song has a special place in my heart but i really love #Nitume which is a prohetic song that God has called me for Nations

How did you get the name Urban Settlah? Is it a nickname?

How has this quarantine period been for you? What are some of the music projects that you are working on currently?

it's been challenging to everyone but God has been faithful to sustain my life...we aint having events but it has also opened doors do do online gigs..i have been featured as an actor on #TumainiLipo by @ericksmith10a song of hope 4 everyone during this season

If you were to name your top 3 musicians that you always look up to, who would they be??i look up to @SteveCrownmusic@MOGmusic_ and america's @phillthompson

Lastly as we wind up, what are you currently learning?That patience is a virtue and just pursuing my dream one step at a time...I listen to alot of interviews and I get to learn and study different artists on their journey too...
