Ukoo Flani's Zakah saved? Find out more!!

The Kenyan music scene never fails to amaze me with the number of succesful gospel artists outweighing that of secular. Forgive me if I sound like am supporting any particular side, it’s just that Kenya seems to be the only country where statistics of the two genres differ from all the rest of the Globe’s!
Is it that the management in the secular scene is poor or is it simply that our artist are actually “seeing the light” as they say? Well whichever the case, I bet we are making Jesus dance to Pharrell William’s “Happy” song out of excitement!
And guess who is the new face in the Gospel scene? None other than the Ukoo Flani, Mau Mau rapper and Kenyan hip hop veteran,Zakah! Yes, he is now a born again and wishes to share the joys of finding Jesus Christ with you.

“I have been seeing visions of me preaching the word of God for a while now. As much as I tried to avoid them, it proved impossible as the visions persisted….I often found myself writing gospel lyrics I don’t know how but am sure God was trying to talk to me to accept and respond to the calling” He jovially responded when during a Mdundo interview.
“My album 'Desturi', was set to drop come the end of this year, and it still will, but now expect more positive music than before and more gospel inspired lyrics in my hip hop.” He added.
Surprised? The world seems pretty unpredictable if you ask me! Zakah recently graced the music scene once again after a moment of silence, other commitments and rebranding as he told Mdundo.
As we all wait for his new library, follow the link provided below and get that hip hop mood going on!
