It is hard not to get jealous of the fabulous life that Ugandan rapper Fik Fameica leads. But do we have an idea where he came from?
Fik Fameica started at the bottom, and struggled to make it big in the Ugandan music industry.
He grew up as a Ghetto Kid in Kawempe, and has on many occasions confessed that he grew up with nothing.
Sharing his journey on social media, Fik Fameica posted his TBT photo from several years ago, and could not help but be overwhelmed with mixed emotions.

In his post, he recounts the many years he was not able to afford the luxury that he currently enjoys.
“I started from the bottom to the TOP! And I’m now pushing even harder! When I look at this pic I get confused. I don’t know whether I should laugh or cry! But things were not easy those days! Hunger was the order of the day. Ghetto youth bless! ALLAH IS GREAT." Fik Fameica shared as he encouraged youths to work hard, believe, focus, stay positive because Champions don't stop.
His story proves that with hard work, persistence, talent, and consistency, you really can end up in a better place than where you started.
Fik Fameica is currently one of the best rappers in the country, and enjoys massive following across the East African region.
