Oju Ette (Ojumole)
Oju Ette is a compound community of Oju people, who in search of Fertile Land, live in the western part of Gwer East Local Government of Benue State. It comprises of Several large communities and villages. Oju-Ette is integrated in Akpachayi(headquarters) Council Ward. Oju Ette shares boundary with Obi Local Government to the West, Oju Local Government to the South, Gwer West to the. North and Vandekia to the South East of Benue State. The people of this part of Igede are separated from their brothers in the main Oju Local Government and Igede at large.
Oju Ette comprises of the Following Communities and Villages
OJUMOLE ( Including Ogbirambe and Oyedo)
AKPACHAYI(Including Ukendinyi) and
UGBOBA.
Ojumole is the largest Community of the three and give access from Obarike Ito, Aliade to Akpachayi , Ugboba, Ainu Ukpute and to main Oju town in Oju Local Government Area.
They are predominantly farmers. They have very rich and fertle soil and their major crops are: Yam, cassava, Rice, Benneseed called ehia and groundnut. The Traditional Ruler is King (Adirahu) Ahme Ogor
As a result of political institution in the state, Oju-Ette belong to neither Zone A nor C but B. Nevertheless, they are still together with their brothers in Oju/Obi LGA. So good to say, Ojumole is Home land!
