Zimbabwean International Reggae/Dancehall Music Maestro Lambasts Selfish African Leaders
11 October 2018
“I am pissed off by leaders of African countries who does not practice what they preach. How can they expect the people to have confidence in their leadership styles whereas they don’t stick to democratic principles?” these were the words of Bornfire Dube warning politicians to clean-up mess in their parliament.
He said this after releasing the hit single titled Banana Republic last night at Side By Side studios. In this neo-reggae song, the international lyrical mania took a stance to indicate that African leaders are responsible for prevalent socio-economic problems such as poverty, political atrocities and lack of education in their respective countries.
