First of all, my family gave me a couple o' decent names.
All totally different, not one sounded the same.
After hearing some others that I thought were really lame,

Kenneth meant a leader and so one I would be.

Blew through school like a storm, academics were a breeze.
Then we moved and the puzzle kinda lost a piece.
Kinda lost my piece of mind, didn't know how to replace it.

And the accent wasn't something that I was amazed with.
Kenneth lost it's 'h' and so I had to change it.
Started using Ken as a sort of abbreviation,
from the moment I started school in this new nation.
I really wasn't fond of the native pronunciation
but would I still be me? Would I have the motivation?

Now the thoughts were forming. If Kami was a being,

plus the album name made a pun that I could see, 'kay...
