KENYA: Could American Pop Icon Madonna be in the Slum of Kibera to Adopt Another Child?
4 July 2016

American singer and pop-icon Madonna is in Kenya and rumor has it she’s looking to adopt.
Having recorded 13 studio albums and being recognized by the Guinness Book of World Records as the best-selling female recording artist of all time, Madonna is no doubt one of the biggest pop-icons in the world.
With over 30 years in the music industry, she’s managed to maintain her pop-icon status by reinventing herself through fashion, music and of course her daring public stunts.
But aside from her music, over the past few years the 57-year old has made a reputation for herself for adopting African children through her foundation ‘Raising Malawi’.
And while the exact date of her arrival in the country is not known, on Sunday morning the singer posted a photo from Maasai Mara and captioned it “Good Morning Kenya.”
This morning however the singer has been posting photos from the slum of Kibera which seems to support the theory that she’s in the country seeking to adopt.

"Hugging Mama Sopfie. This Amazing Woman lives in a 10 by 10 dwelling in Kibera with her 14 children-2 adopted. Her husband killed in a political uprising. She's starting her own business with the help of @shofco. God Bless Her!"-Madonna

"Sitting with Mama Sofie, We are Humbled!"-Madonna
She’s also been promoting the Shining Hope for Communities (SHOFCO), an organization that links free schools for girls to essential services for communities like clean water, and free health care.
And with a net worth of over $800 million, I think it’s safe to say if she adopts that will be one lucky child who will never lack a thing in his/her life ever again.
