KENYA: Check Out the Song Papa Wemba and Diamond Platinumz Recorded Three Weeks Before His Death 'Chacun Pour Soi'

The sudden passing of Congolese music/Lingala legend Papa Wemba is still fresh in the minds of many fans and lovers of music across the world.
More than his personality and unique fashion sense, the one thing music lovers across the world is his undoubtedly unique voice that stands out even among the greats both of today and yester years,
However today Papa Wemba fans have a reason to feel as if the great musician has resurrected once more to bring them one last sound that they shall remember forever.
This is after his collaborative effort with Tanzania’s Diamond Platinumz was finally released earlier today.
Immediately after reports of his death, musician Diamond came out to reveal to fans that they had been working on new song together.
The song was recorded just three weeks before his death and is titled Chacun Pour Soi. An emotion evoking track that embodies all Papa Wemba was as a musician.
After its release Diamond took to social media where he wrote, “Rest in peace our beloved Legend we will always love and miss you…
“Mengi Mazuri tuliyapanga ila Mwenyez Mungu Ndio mpangaji wa Mwisho...Siku zote tutakukumbuka, Kukuheshim na kukuenzi.”
And as a lover of music, I have to say what a way to be remembered. The world of music surely suffered a great loss in 2016.
