KENYA: Jamaican Star Konshens' Message After His Brother 'Delus' Alleged Suicide

The death and reported suicide of Dancehall artist Delus, brother of Konshens, brought the entire Jamaican entertainment fraternity to a stand-still yesterday.
According to reports Delmark ‘Delus’ Spence, 35, who was popular Jamaican artist Konshens’ older brother, is suspected to have committed suicide at his home in Havendale, St Andrew, on Wednnesday night.
Police at the scene revealed to the press that an amateur video was sent allegedly by Delus to his girlfriend, who raced back home to stop him. The video showed the artist with a gun to his head.
Konshens who is reported to have been at the scene appeared shell-shocked and had on the ground, head in his hands, crying.
Entertainers Tarrus Riley and Jah Vinci were among those who turned up at the house to give support.
Yesterday Konshen took to social media to share his grief with his fans writing, “No know how mi aggo do dis without u, dawg. But mi aggo do it, cah u love see mi a do it. We can always say u neva affi do dat, but mi prefer seh mi wish u neva affi do dat. Mi know you, if it was so heavy that u think u needed to quit then to hell with it, dawg. REST and rest easy to,” the post read in part.
Delus is known for songs such as What Tomorrow May Bring, Another Gal, and She is Happy.
