KENYA: Former Camp Mulla Vocalist Miss Karun Drops Exceptional New EP, Prepare to be Impressed

Even back when she was part of the four piece band Camp Mulla, Miss Karun always managed to stand out from the rest of her crew-mates.

But it wasn’t just the fact that she was the only female member of the crew and being so young that made stand out, but it was her exceptional vocal prowess when she delivered the hook or a verse.

Years later after her first crew parted ways, Ms. Karun is now a member of yet another crew, The Cosmic Hommies, who just like her old crew are not only revered for their unique style of music but also have a host of accomplishments outside the country including featuring at the very popular ‘South X SouthWest’ Music Festival in the States and sharing the stage with the likes of Davido and Wizkid.

Recently though Karun decided to work on a solo project away from her new crew which could possibly mean that the youngster is not looking to focus on making her star shine even brighter away from the groups.

She revealed earlier today that she’d dropped her new Ep titled Indigo. The 7 track Ep is reminiscent of the unique style of music she has and she also features some little known cats in the game including fellow Cosmic Hommies crew-mate Joseph Kiwango, Nu Fvnk (who’s also produce most of the track in the Ep) and Skeme Music.

All round it’s an Ep like no other featuring her contemporary style of music and other uniquely talented artists, but it’s track 6 and 7 that stand out to me.
