NIGERIA: Done and Dusted! Jay Z Pictured Together With Tiwa Savage and Don Jazzy Confriming Mavin-ROC Nation Deal

On May one of the biggest news coming out of Nigeria was that of a deal that would see Mavin Records first lady Tiwa Savage signed to Jay Z’s Roc Nation.
Now the news that first began as rumor have been confirmed after photos and a video were posted on social media showing Tiwa and Don Jazzy meeting with Jay Z himself.
The deal which would see Roc Nation and Mavin Records enter an international management and distribution agreement for Tiwa Savage, has reportedly been in the works since Jay Z’s cousin Brian ‘Bee-High’ Biggs visited the Mavin Headquaters in Lagos, Nigeria last year.
The photo in question was shared by Mavin boss Don Jazzy with the caption, “My face like baba hurry up and show me where RiRi dey.” This could surely mean that both parties are in agreement and all that remains now is for Tiwa and Mavin to put pen to paper.
Tiwa is currently promoting her sophomore album R.E.D ahead of her scheduled performance at the ‘Made in America’ concert in September where she will be opening for headlining act Rihanna.
