Rapper AKA Might Have Just Charmed His Way Into Popular Hollywood TV Series 'Empire'

If there was ever a testament that good friends with great connections can get you anywhere it would have to be South African rapper AKA.

Recently two of the biggest stars from the cast of popular Hollywood series ‘Empire’ Terrence Howard and Taraji P Henson, who play Luscious and Cookie Lyon respectively, were on a visit in SA and the ‘Make Me Sing’ hit maker just happened to be in the venue where he performed and played host to the two stars all the while befriending them.

And well it seemed to work out even better than AKA thought especially for Taraji (Cookie) who seemed to have taken quite a liking to him calling him cute.

Later as they were having a conversation with Howard (Luscious) the subject of him featuring in the show came up with the Hollywood star promising to speak to the director of the show about putting him on the show.

Call me hopeful but I think this thing might actually go through because we all know that some good African tunes could be just what the show needed to spice things up.

Afterwards Taraji took to Instagram where she wrote, “You were a wonderful host @akaworldwide I AM A BIG FAN OF#AfricanMusic Thank you for being so kind to us! AND YES WE SHOULD HAVE YOU ON THE SHOW”
