If a 50 year old man looks back 20 years and sees no change around him, that man has wasted 30 years of his life. Those were the astounding words of the man known to many as the ‘Greatest of All Time’, Muhammad Ali.
The world broke into morning over the weekend after news that former World Heavyweight Boxing Champion Muhammad Ali, had passed away at the age of 74.
"After a 32-year battle with Parkinson's disease, Muhammad Ali has passed away at the age of 74. The three-time World Heavyweight Champion boxer died this evening," Bob Gunnell, a family spokesman, said in an official statement to NBC News.
But for many who followed his philosophies in life, Muhammadd Ali was more than just a boxing champion, he was an inspiration and a testament to what it truly means to never give up.
That is why many all over the world took to social media throughout the weekend posting some of his most famous quotes in remembrance.
And the music industry was not left behind either. Many of whom had met the boxing champion and even those who had not but were still touched by him shared their condolence messages.
Here’s what they said;

And even our local celebs were not left behind;
“Far behind his greatness in the ring...There's a richness to a legacy created by the true icon. Someone who's name forever stands for excellence, for principle, for grace, for charity and service. Someone who used his talent for something beyond athletic achievement. His fame, for something beyond self-enrichment. The textured combination of courage, character and charisma is the legacy of Mohammad Ali! The most influential and beloved champion of the people! Champion of his beliefs, champion of human rights! His greatest victories came not inside the ring but on the public stage. His belief that your service to others is the rent you pay for your room here on earth, simply put he paid it in full #RIPMohammadAli #GOAT” ~ SAUTI SOL

R.I.P Muhammad Ali...
