KENYA: Mercy Myra's Triumphant Comeback Thwarted After Someone Leaked Her Song 'Feels Like Love' Weeks Ahead of Release Date

Earlier this month we informed you that Kenyan Afro-fusion legend Mercy Myra was planning her triumphant return to music after quite some time away from the game.
The Atlanta-based singer who had been involved in divorce battles with husband and rapper Attitude recently signed a deal with US music label Nu Royal Records and was looking to release her first record with the stable in mid July 2016.
But now it seems someone else within the stable had other ideas, leaking the song much earlier than its planned release date.
The song titled Feels Like Love, has and African-house feel to it but not quite like Kwaito (South African House).
And it is of no doubt that despite the fact that she’s been away from the game for quite some time, she still has a powerful voice just like the good all day.
She sings in her native tongue alongside rapper Pistyle in her first studio song of 2016. And while I’m sure things did not go as Mercy planned, her fans will not be too disappointed because if this is just but a taste of what to expect from her this year, it is nothing short of impressive.
