KENYA: Mo Sound Events CEO Says Company Still Stable Besides Sh100 Million Damage Caused by University of Nairobi Students
23 May 2016

Two weeks ago, on Saturday evening University of Nairobi students did irreparable damage to the reputation of the institution when they raided the setup of a scheduled event in the grounds of the university and caused damage estimated to be in the hundreds of millions.
Event’s company Mo Sound Events were the unfortunate party to be on the receiving end of University student’s wrath.
The company which had been hired to setup for the charity event that was set to draw thousands of youth to register as voters, is said to have incurred Sh100 million in damages.
But despite that, the company CEO Kevin Mulei told the Pulse last week that the company will continue to run as if nothing had ever happened.
“This will not affect our planned events or our strategies. We are stable,” he said.
However the same cannot be said for the students of the University of Nairobi. They were protesting the administration barring them from cooking in their dorms, and in the process scared-off many prospective employers thus endangering their futures.
