KENYA: K.O.T Eulogizes Former First Lady Lucy Kibaki #RIPMamaLucy

Blogs and news stations have been buzzing all die after news emerged early this morning of the sudden death of former First Lady cordially known as Mama Lucy Kibaki.

The former First Lady is remembered as a stern woman especially in matters of her family and personal life. She once stormed one of the biggest media houses in Kenya and slapped a journalist for the way a story about her was reported.

But it’s not only her sternness that will be remembered, Mama Lucy also had a soft heart heart when it came to matters health.

In his statement President Uhuru Kenyatta remembers the critical role she played in the fight of HIV/AIDS and development (mainly building hospitals across the country) during her husband Mwai Kibaiki’s reign.
