Trend Setting in the Music Business, Beyonce Stuns the World With Her #Lemonade Visual Album and it's Not Just About Jay Z's 'Infidelity'

On April 24, 2016 American pop star Beyoncé proved that she’s not only one of the most influential people on the planet, but also  why she’s ahead of the game when it comes to music and the music business.

The release of Lemonade sparked a Twitter storm all over the world, one because it was something many have never seen before but also because of the profound messages that were embedded in her visual album.

In ‘Project Lemonade’ Beyoncé utilized different art forms, from spoken word, fashion and yes the visuals themselves, to deliver messages about the struggles of black women, love, family, infidelity and of course the deep seeded issue of race.

It was the ultimate form of expression for an artist and almost as if you were starring right into the artist’s soul itself.

She shared many aspects of her life which for a long time remained a secret or mere rumor and speculation. From home movies of her father, her wedding to rapper Jay Z, her pregnancy and even Blue Ivy’s birthday party.

As to infidelity which seemed to have captured the attention of many fans the most.

Was rapper Jay Z at one time unfaithful to his wife? Rumors circulating around in 2014, sparked by the famous elevator fight between the rapper and his sister-in-law, Solange Knowles.

And while all our instincts seem to tell us that the lyrics were referencing the rapper, it still a pretty much vague reference.

It became especially confusing nearing the end with images of Beyoncé, Jay Z and their daughter Blue appearing as a happy family.

Away from her personal life, the artist also made a statement in the chapter ‘Resurrection’ through women holding photos of black men who have been killed as a result of police brutality and among whom were the mothers of some of the latest victims Trayvon Martin and Michael Brown, who were holding placards of their sons.

There’s clearly a lot artist all over the globe can learn from Lemonade and how it was delivered.
