KENYA: Watch Octopizzo Spit Rhymes in Luo Alongside His New Protégé Vicmass in 'Bank Otuch Remix'

Well if you’ve been itching to see a new side to Namba Nane rapper Octopizzo, Vicmass’s Bank Otuch Remix is where you can see it.

Earlier this week, Octopizzo had announced that there would be a new artist joining his management going by the name Vicmass.

Now as his first act under Octopizzo’s management, the Kisumu based Luo-rapper (and I mean he raps in Dholuo) has released a remix for one of his popular hits, Bank Otuch and features the Namba Nane rapper in it.

But that is not the surprise. In the song Octopizzo reached deep within to pull out the ‘Jakom inside’ if you will surprisingly mixing his rhymes with Dholuo. In fact at one point he raps for almost 1 minute in Dholuo, a side that many of his fans have never seen before and have probably been waiting for.

Perhaps he should experiment a bit more with his native tongue even in his own songs, he could be Kenya’s own Sarkodie who is widely accepted outside of his country despite using his native language.

Check out Bank Otuch Remix and let us know what you think. Should Octopizzo keep rapping in Dholuo?
