KENYA: The Airtel TRACE Music Star is Back With a Bang, Will You Heed Keri Hilson's Call? #AirtelTRACEstar

With over 2 million calls made and submitted in the 2015 edition of the Airtel TRACE music star, there’s no doubt that it is the biggest ever music competition to take place in the continent.

It is for this reason it was voted the Best Pan-African Initiative at the prestigious AfricaCom Awards held in Capetown, South Africa.

And this year Niger which did not take part in last year’s competition will now join Democratic Republic of Congo, Gabon, Ghana, Kenya, Madagascar, Malawi, Nigeria, Tanzania, and Zambia in competing for the crown of Africa’s ‘Music Star’.

This year competitors will be in the race for the grand prize that comprises a mentorship program with multi-award winning American singer-songwriter Keri Hilson in Atlanta.

The winner will not only star in their own music video alongside Keri Hilson; he/she will get an opportunity to record a duet with the “Knock You Down” songstress, as well as receive a signed contract with a major music label and worldwide media exposure through various TRACE’s platforms.
