KENYA: The Aloe Blacc Show & How it Went Down at the Blankets & Wine Music and Arts Festival
11 April 2016

The weekend is finally over and this week unfortunate as it is, we usher in the dreaded mid-month, when our wallets are no longer as healthy as they were when we started the month.
But now all we’re left with are the memories, and how wonderful they are especially if you attended the Blankets & Wine music festival that happened this past weekend.
Music lovers from across Nairobi congregated at the Ngong Racecourse to witness what was going to be the comeback of the very popular festival.
It was the perfect place to take your family especially if you lacked a plot for the close of the weekend. And even though the gloomy weather threatened to end the fun, it’s almost like the great music and performances kept the storm calm and the crowds entertained.
And for those who did not get their feel from the music, the art exhibitions, food, celebrities and fun loving party people would surely quench anyone with a never ending thirst for fun.
Now the weekend is over and the party monsters have been tamed and back in their cubicles (cages) at work waiting until the next time they are let loose again, which judging by how fast wallets are being drained this month and especially seeing as everyone in the country was a Chase Bank account holder, as they would have their landlords believe, will be quite a while but until then at least we have our memories right.
