KENYA: International Reggae Band Morgan Heeritage Reveal all their Investment Plans in Kenya

A few months ago, international reggae music band Morgan Heritage shocked the world and Kenya after they announced that they were permanently relocating into the country.
But over the past few months the band has shown that they were more than coming to stay here but were also coming to transform the country in their own way.
Recently Word Is caught up with one of the band members Mojo Morgan who revealed Morgan Heritage’s plans in the country among which are initiative that just might surprise many.
Not only were they going into farming, Mojo himself was setting up a technological start-up of sorts.
“I’m home, that’s why I’m here. But while I’m home I’m launching a ticketing platform ticketpal.kenya.com” he revaled.
As for his brother Gramps Morgan who was rumored to be going into farming and was even recently seen surveying land in Naivasha, he said “…he’ll be working on the development of his Gramps Morgan Food Line and we’re just enjoying Kenya.”
As to whether her acquired land however he said, “Gramps visited Naivasha to do his due diligence on the best areas for farming and he fell in love with the Rift-Valley in general…But we have yet to acquire land anywhere in Kenya, we’re not in a rush to do that.”
On the music front, the reggae band is also looking to do is part to improve on the music industry since they’ll not only be making their music here but recording it here as well.
A few months ago news was that they would be setting up their own studio but as Mojo Morgan revealed they will be doing more than that.
“We want to develop young talent but also to help established talent become more established outside of Kenya or their respective country, to be known internationally.”
The band is soon scheduled to begin its Strictly Roots Africa Tour in April 8, 2016 which will kick off in Ivory Coast after which they’ll also visit Malawi, South Afirca and Senegal.
“We’ll take a break and comeback home to Kenya to have our first official Grammy Celebration,” he revealed.
