NIGERIA: Banky W to Retire From Music to Search for Wife Material

Usually when a celebrity announces that they’re thinking of taking a break from entertainment they list a number of personal reasons but never has one said that he’s taking a break to look for a wife and get kids.

Nigeria’s Banky W is no doubt one of the most eligible bachelors around and apparently one of the few celebrities without a baby mama out there.

But recently in an interview with Channels Television’s Entertainment News, he revealed that he not only desires these things (well not a baby mama, a wife and kids) but is thinking of actively seeking them out even if it means taking a break from making music.

“Living an artiste’s life does not lend itself to (kind of) working on a relationship. It’s tough." he began.

'It’s something that I actively (really) want to do, so I want to take some time off, after I’m done releasing this music and touring, I want to take some time off.

'Like I want to have some kids you know, get married, you know. Get married first and then have some kids,” he disclosed.

This comes of the backdrop of the Ebuka Uchendu and Cynthia Obianodo wedding held on Saturday, February 6, 2016 in Abuja, where Banky was one of the groomsmen.

After the wedding the singer took to social media to reveal that he was feeling a bit left our seeing as most of his friends were getting married.
