KENYA: Blankets & Wine Set for Great Return Featuring Aloe Blacc Alongside Just A Bande and Muthoni the Drummer Queen

After a long hiatus the Blankets & Wine Music Festival is scheduled for a big comeback and this time it is bigger than ever.

Scheduled to take place next month at the Ngong Racecourse, it will feature international superstar Aloe Blacc who is known well for his mega-hits the likes of “I Need a Dollar”, “The Man” and “Wake Me Up”.

Performing alongside him will be some of Kenya’s biggest names among them Muthoni the Drummer Queen, Just A Band and Mayonde.

“We have opened the space for live music from the region and in the process; we have been deeply rewarded with the joy that has come from simultaneously solving a problem for artists and effectively serving the music industry and its consumers.
