UGANDA: Jose Chameleone Music Banned on MTV Base?

Valu Valu hit maker Jose Chameleone has steadily become on the biggest names in the African music scene over the years. Few African artists are as decorated as he is musically speaking.

Now according to Ugandan blog Bigeye. MTV Base have put a ban on the Chameleone’s music, meaning that none of the Ugandan artist songs will be played on the channel.

This they report is because of a falling out between the artist and one of the channel’s officials.

The falling out is alleged to have been caused by Jose’s remarks about one of the station’s top presenter Ehiz who was in Uganda to host the Uganda Entertainment Awards last year.

Chameleone noted that there was no need for a foreign presenter to be jetted into the country when we had our own presenters here.

According to the report, the ban will remain until the Ugandan artist issues an apology.
