#HIPHOPTUESDAYS Kendrick Makes History Once Again With Surprise Album Drop Featuring a 5 Year Old Producer
8 March 2016

Fresh out of making history with 11 Grammy Award nominations and winning 5 in total, it was said that Kendrick Lamar might have a tough time following up his monumental ‘To Pimp a Butterfly’ album. Or would he?
Rumors had been circulation Friday on social media that Kendrick would be surprise-releasing an album. The rumors began when, apparently, Spotify posted the album (perhaps by accident), titled ‘Untitled Unmastered’.

Top Dawg Entertainment CEO Anthony Tiffith further fueled the rumors with his tweet that read “Yea King Kendrick returns 2nite,” with a link to Instagram address that was dead; the tweet was soon deleted.
After his performance at the Grammys, Kendrick in an interview with 2DopeBoyz revealed that he had material worth releasing that didn’t make To Pimp A Butterfly.
“I got a chamber of material from the album that I was in love where sample clearances or something as simple as a deadline kept it off the album. But I think probably close to ten songs that I’m in love with that I’ll still play and still perform that didn’t make the cut.”
But no one could have predicted an album coming this soon
Furthermore the new album has no credits attached (featured artists, producers and all), but now it seems that some of them are starting to put their names to their respective work from the album.
The biggest surprise of all however was when renowned American producer Swizz Beatz took to Instagram to reveal his son Egypt did some production on the song "untitled 07 l 2014 - 2016."
Why is this surprising? Well the boy is only five years old. What were you doing at five years old?

"This is the best Dad moment everrrrr!!! Congrats to my son Egypt for producing his 1st track on this amazing Kendrick Album," he wrote. "@aliciakeys look at our lil guy baby."
And for the doubters out there, Swizz shared footage of Egypt playing the keys in the studio for the part that would make Kendrick's song, along with the caption, "to all you old ass producers mad at a 5yr old on his grind early step ya game up and get a life."
And while it might be a bit premature I believe it’s safe to say that Kendrick’s new album has already made history thanks to Egypt.
