NIGERIA: Davido Announces New Signing to His HKN Gang and Find Out Which American Rapper He Is Working With Next

Coming off a major signing deal with Sony Music Entertainment, Nigerian pop star Davido has unveiled a new act, Mayor Kun to his HKN Gang.

Davido himself made the announcement during a media session earlier today as he unveiled the new act, Mayor Kun, as the next big thing in Nigeria.

Mayokun Adewale, who is a graduate of University of Lagos, was discovered by Davido through an Instagram post. He voiced his excitement over signing for Davido saying that he initially thought it was a scam when the pop star sent him a message.

"It is a dream come true and I feel so excited being signed unto the label," he said.

''I have always hoped to get this sort of chance and Davido coming my way is something that is indescribable.’’

Currently Davido is working on a collaboration with U.S rapper Young Thug, which will make it the third collaboration with a U.S music act after Trey Songz and Meek Mill.
