KENYA: Why Maliza Umaskini CEO Sadat Has Invested Sh100 Million on Papa Dennis
23 February 2016

Many have wondered where gospel artiste Papa Dennis’ gets all the millions for his worldclass music videos. But what many don’t know is there’s someone behind his fast rise to money and fame and that is the Maliza Umaskini CEO, Sadat Muhindi.
Over the years Sadat has garnered a reputation for helping the needy youth who have no means attain their dreams and Papa Dennis is arguably his best if not his favorite project.
“My NGO is all about helping the needy, especially young people who have great talent but no one to develop it.That is the case with Papa Dennis,” Sadat told MondayBlues.
“Papa’s story is very unique. I have committed over Sh100 million to make sure that his music career attracts international attention. That has been his dream since we started working together,” he added.
So far about 50 of the 100 million has been spent on all of Papa Dennis’ projects including his album launch which took place last year and was attended by a flurry of politicians including Raila Odinga. The whole concert was also aired on Citizen TV.

But why is Sadat doing all this for him? That seems to be the question many ask when they think of all Papa Dennis has been able to accomplish with his mountain of funding.
“What people might not know is that I am actually supporting over 12 other artistes and I will continue doing so,” Sadat concluded.
