KENYA: Beat Ya Keggah Becomes First Record Label to Translate Their Music to Sign Language

Equality and inclusion are the topics of the century in this day and age. Nowadays whatever you do has to have the disabled and the disadvantaged in the society in mind.

They say music is a universal language, but no one ever thinks about the deaf who never get to hear this music. Being among the disadvantaged in the community the probably feel left out by this, because of this they can’t appreciate music the same way we do.

However record label ‘Beat Ya Keggah’ has made history being the first in Kenya to translate all his music into sign language.

The Record has announced that it will for all its forthcoming music videos, provide another version translated into sign language and has started the wave with Nazizi’s comeback song ‘Wedding Ring’.
