NIGERIA: P-Square Splitting?
18 February 2016

More developments coming out of Nigeria following the P-Square situation, is that the 34-year-old twin-duo have now turned their fangs on each other after Peter’s firing of Manager and elder brother, Jude Okoye.
"I repeat P-Square is not breaking up. Thanks for the love and support. I appreciate #NoMoreFamilyBusiness" wrote Peter on one of his rage tweets.
After which Paul replied, “If You Don’t Do Family Business, Then Who Am I To You?”
Peter then revealed that his brother Paul had insisted on splitting all their assets into equal shares with their elder brother Jude.
“2013 I told Jude his no longer needed as our manager he agrees only for u to come to me that if he is not our manager then we should split!
“Teampsquare ask my twin brother why today him and Jude owns squareville. And if that didn't happen Psquare would have bin over 4yrs ago.
“Teampsquare pls help me ask my twin why he insisted that everything we own must be shared equally with Jude . Otherwise Psquare should split,” Peter wrote asking P-Square fans to get involved in the conversation.
All the while Paul has yet to respond to Peter’s sacking of elder brother Jude as P-Square manager. And though Peter announced that despite the sacking of Jude P-Square would remain together, this recent spat between them suggests otherwise.
The brothers are known to have a number of business ventures, including a beer brewing factory, which has its factory in Congo and was launched in 2014, however the twins recent business acquisitions seem to suggest that a case of love-loss between them.
A few weeks ago Peter announced on his Instagram that he would be starting up a football agency, that along with his solo show ‘Dance With Peter’ which has gained massive popularity across West Africa seem to suggest that the one-half of P-Square might be gearing up for a split.
On the other hand Paul set up his own record label and has already signed up a new artiste to the label.
But the question remains is this the end of P-Square? Well we’ll have to wait and see, till then y’all enjoy these episodes of ‘Keeping Up With the Okoyes’.
