KENYA: A Presidents Dream! See How Thousands Flocked the Dusty Streets to Welcome Tanzanian Superstar Diamond to Turkana County [PHOTOS]

When you think remote locations in Kenya, Turkana County is as close as it gets. It is a county reported to have several untapped resources and one that the government has apparently neglected for the longest time.

But that’s as far as the neglect goes. Recently Mseto East Africa has been organizing for artists from all over East Africa to perform in Lodwar, Turkana County and have had great success from the turn outs to the performances.

However all that success seems to have been overshadowed over the weekend when Tanzanian superstar Diamond Platinumz landed in the county of Turkana.

From the time he landed, to the time he got in his motorcade. It was a welcome that even the President himself would dream of having.

Thousands thronged the dusty roads of Lodwar to watch as Diamond’s motorcade drove by. He even had to switch cars at one point just so he can wave to the people, like the boss he is.

And when it came to his performance, it was nothing short of spectacular. The crowd just couldn’t get enough of him.

Diamond had gone to Lodwar for the grand launch of Marble Club. Here are some of the photos of the events as they took place;
