KENYA: Kenyan Walks Away With Ksh1 Million at Tecno Own The Stage Grande Finale [PHOTOS]

Last night the long running Tecno Own The Stage Kareoke competition finally came to an end after being on TV for more than three months.

The competition first began with fifteen contestants, 5 Kenyans, 5 Nigerians and 5 Tanzanians and then to four, 2 Kenyans, 1 Nigerian and 1 Tanzanian, but only four managed to make it to the grand finale, among which were two Kenyans, Pascal and Sikin, Nigerian Shaapera and Tanzanian Nandy.

Nigeria’s Shaapera was crowned the winner taking home the $25,000 grand prize. She also got a recording deal as well as a brand new TECNO Phantom 5 phone.

In second place was Tanzania’s Nandy, taking home $15,000, a three-month internship programme at the internationally acclaimed Chocolate City, and a Tecno Phantom 5 smartphone.

Kenyan Pascal Tokodi came in at third place and got $10,000 and a Tecno Phantom 5 smartphone.
