This Video of a Girl in War-torn Burundi Singing Beyonce's 'Halo' Will Make You Cry

Talk of raw untapped talent and a young girl in war-torn Burundi is perhaps not what might come to mind.

But despite the post-elections skirmishes going on in the country, Burundi still remains a true diamond in the rough and so do its people.

Late last year a video surfaced of a young Burundian school-girl singing one of Beyoncé’s most popular songs ‘Halo’ in the most angelic voice.

The post read;

The video of course went viral getting close to 3 million views on Facebook and is still rising. The video seems to have been taken a while back perhaps before the skirmishes sparked in the country.
