KENYA: Kenya's Biggest Musical Acts Taking Over Uganda's HiPipo Music Awards

From winning awards locally now Kenya’s favorite boy bands have moved on to one of Uganda’s most coveted awards, the HiPipo awards.
Sauti Sol’s hit record ‘Sura Yako’ and PUnit’s ‘Weka Weka’ have been nominated under the category of ‘East Africa Super Hit’.
They will be going head to head against some of East Africa’s biggest acts to among them Tanzania’s Diamond Platinumz, Ali Kiba and Vanessa Mdee as well as Uganda’s Juliana Kanyamozi.
Sauti Sol have also appeared in another category ‘East Africa Best Video’ for the ‘Shake Yo Bam Bam’ video with yet another Kenyan hit maker, Stella Mwangi for her ‘Chukua Hatua’ video.
The HiPipo Music Awards will go down on January 30, 2016 at Kampala, Serena Hotel.
