KENYA: More Details Emerge From the Death of Popular Kalenjin Singer Diana Chelele
11 January 2016

Popular Kalenjin songstress, Diana Chemutai Musila, was found dead inside her Kapwen, Bomet County house Saturday 9, 2016.
Her body was discovered by a family member with deep abdominal stab wounds after they had tried to reach her several times without reply.
Police boss Abel Sande later arrived at the scene and confirmed that the singer had been murdered in cold blood.
According to new information on the case, it is suspected that she may have been killed elsewhere and the body dumped in the abandoned house. And according to her younger sister, the singer had been missing for three days before she was found dead.
In October last year, the singer was admitted in hospital after a failed attempt to commit suicide at a hotel in Nakuru according to Kalenjin radio station Chamgei FM. Many believed that marital issues as well as legal problems are what drove the songstress to the edge.
