Yemi Alade Set to Release Her Sophmore Studio Album March 2016

Award winning Nigerian songstress, Yemi Alade, earlier this week confirmed the arrival of her second album titled ‘Mama Africa’ in stores in March, 2016.

“My darling Tangerines my sophomore studio album will hit stores physically and digitally come March of 2016,” she announced on Instagram.

She also took the time to explain what the album will be about and its focus and what’s clear from that is that it’s meant for the African woman.

“It is titled “Mama Africa”, and it focuses on the joys and pains, the highs and lows, the strengths and weaknesses of an African woman. In short, it is the diary of an African Woman.”

She already has two singles from the album out, among them Na gode’ ft Selebobo, and ‘Do as I do’ ft DJ Arafat which already have had plenty success.

Her first album ‘King of Queens’ released in October 2014 came with some of the songs that built her career, the likes of ‘Johnny’, ‘Taking Over Me’ and ‘Tangerine.

Meanwhile back at home, our very own Bien Aime of Sauti Sol is having a hard time keeping to himself how he feels about Yemi.
