NEWS (KENYA): Kenya's Most Eligible Bachelorette, Wangechi Reveals Her Relationship Status

She’s beautiful, talented and one of the fastest rising artists in Kenya right now, and her name is Wangechi.

She’s perhaps the most eligible bachelorettes out there and she’s had great success in her music career this year after appearing on Coke Studio Africa Season 3. So yes all thirsty men across Kenya have wondered whether behind this great young woman lies a strong man whom they can’t compete and finally we can solve this great mystery.

During her exclusive interview with Mpasho, Ms. Wangechi revealed that she jumped right back into the studio where she spends most of her days working. But does she have someone she goes home to everyday?

“I want to do music full time. I want to give it my all and see where it will take me. I’m not really excited to work and help someone achieve their dreams when I can do my music and achieve my dreams,” she revealed.

For a busy girl such as herself, it’s no doubt hard finding a man who can understand her dreams and support her and she seems to have defied the African culture that sees most women give up their own dreams to support the personal ambitions of the men in their lives.

But everybody needs somebody, right?

When you picture most young women Wangechi’s age, you imagine them having fun going out and of course dating or if they are like Vera and company looking for a sponsor.

Not many young girls can say they are 20 years of age and have made it on their own and according to her most people are impressed to discover her age especially considering her success.

“I think my age is actually more of a booster to my success. ‘Cause many people are very intrigued to find out my age. Every time there’s an OH MY GOD moment when I tell people my age. It never makes me feel unappreciated. I’m young and getting it,” she said firmly.

Unlike most people in the industry who have had as much success as she has, Wangechi keeps her private life very private and you’d either have to be deep in her inner circle or a very skilled paparazzi to find out her private info, especially her relationship status.

So for the big reveal is she single or will she break the hearts of all ambitious young men out there hoping to court her?

“I am single but searching,” she revealed. So yes boys, your dreams are still very valid so dream on or make your dream come true.
