NEWS (KENYA): Kenya Mourns Fallen KTN Swahili News Anchor, Ahmed Darwesh

The cruel hand of death has struck once more, robbing Kenyans of one of the greatest Swahili news anchors in the country.

Kenyans today woke up to the sad news that KTN Swahili news anchor Ahmed Darwesh had passed on after he failed to show up for last night’s 7pm bulletin.

According to reports the fallen anchor was discovered lying on his couch after failing to show up for the said bulletin. His brother then took to social media to break the sudden tragic news on social media which was then followed by messages of condolences from different personalities across the country.

Very little was known about the anchor’s personal life, but those that knew him described him as a meek and cheerful gentleman who touched the lives of several people during his lifetime.

The likes of Larry Madowo, Charity Kimani, Joy Doreen Biira who are among the top journalists and news personalities in Kenya have today shared how Ahmed helped them through tough times.
