EXCLUSIVE (UGANDA): Milege World Music Festival 2015 Is Back!

Milege Festival aims at preservation of Uganda's rich cultural heritage through the arts and promoting cross cultural exchange in East Africa. It started in 2009 and has since made a mark as a distinguished brand. 

Performing will be Babette Haag a super percussionist and Marimba player from Germany, she has performed with celebrated musicians all over the world like Bobby McFerrin, Anthony and Joseph Paratore among others. Uganda's own Maurice Kirya who is known for his enormous talent and unique style of music.

Matthew Watmon founder of the Watmon Dance Troupe from Acholi will also be performing, not forgetting the Afrika Jambo beats from Nairobi Kenya. They are characterized by a well crafted synergy between the Nyatiti, Saxophone and Flute.
