Qwela means 'pure' in native rukiga one of Uganda's ethnic languages. Qwela Band has come up with a unique fusion of African music with a western musical approach, their niche reaches a section of society that is not catered for by the current digital and recycled music.
The #QwelaJunction is going to feature Afro-soul divas including Jemimah Sanyu, Rita Sabiiti as well as Solome. Mark 29th Nov 2015 because it's going to be mind blowing.
