Lohkast

Lohkast is a multidisciplinary creative collective launched by James Ongige on 15 June 2025 in Nairobi, Kenya. The collective operates across film, music, and audio post-production — through three main divisions: Lohkast Pictures, Lohkast Records, and Lohkast Audio.

Lohkast is driven by a commitment to creative storytelling, technical innovation, and amplifying unique voices across multiple art forms.

Divisions
Lohkast Pictures
Lohkast Pictures is the film and video production arm of the collective. It focuses on writing, directing, shooting, and editing original films, documentaries, and video content. Lohkast Pictures also provides cinematography, directing, and post-production services for independent projects.

Lohkast Records
Lohkast Records is the music production division of Lohkast, dedicated to recording, producing, and developing original music. It supports artists and creators through:

Lohkast Audio handles all things sound — from design and editing to audio innovation. Working across film, music, and multimedia, it offers:
