Pedro o Pensador

Pedro o Pensador, stage name of Pedro Pensador Soares, born in the province of Malanje, Angola, on (April 3, 1986). He is an Angolan singer and composer, son of Pedro António and Engrácia Manuel Soares.

His predominant musical genres are; Kizomba, Semba and Afrobeats, Afro-house. He took his first musical steps at the age of 8, and was a chorister at the Pentecostal Church Templo Ebenezer for 7 years. One of his influences was the music teacher Venhã Suki Elansuka, who was also the teacher of the musician Dodó Miranda. And one of the men who took part in the musical concerts of Eduardo Paim.

His first song was in the gospel style, entitled "Voz que levar os vasos do Senhor" (Voice that carries the vessels of the Lord).
