Kenyan gospel artist Guardian Angel has risen to prominence with his soul-stirring melodies and inspirational lyrics. However, the artist and his wife, Esther Musila, are now making a significant impact beyond the stage. They have announced the launch of their own record label, '7 Heaven,' a haven for gospel artists who aspire to share their devotion to music.

Guardian Angel and Musila revealed this exciting development in a special ceremony on October 26. Their motivation for establishing '7 Heaven' is to provide mentorship and support for emerging talents in the gospel music scene.

"Demand and pressure have led us to officially launch as a record label. We aim to provide an umbrella for fellow musicians who are blessed with the gift and have a passion for singing in praise of God," they stated.

This initiative signifies their commitment to nurturing and guiding promising artists, ensuring that the gospel music genre continues to flourish with fresh voices and heartfelt messages.

Guardian Angel, known for his soulful tunes and thought-provoking lyrics, introduced two aspiring artists, Sammy G and Derrick, as the label's first signees. He emphasized the importance of releasing quality music and expressed his belief in their potential.

"Sammy G is an example of an artist who resonates with the people out there and needs support. Our audience shares the same desire for support. However, if I, as Guardian Angel, were to provide support individually, it might be challenging because musicians require the same investment as I do."

He further elaborated on the idea of creating a record label, seeing it as a wise investment and a way to alleviate challenges that might arise from providing individual support to artists. Guardian Angel is confident that '7 Heaven Music' will help propel gospel music to new heights.

He shared his vision, stating, "To avoid conflicts and challenges that could arise between me and other artists, I decided to establish 'Seven Heaven Music' officially as an umbrella to support artists like Derrick and Sammy G. Additionally, I will continue to create my own music as a signee of 7Heaven."

Guardian Angel's own journey in the music industry began in 2011 when he released his first song, 'Amazing Grace.' He experienced seven years of trials and tribulations before achieving his breakthrough. Today, he stands as the label's flagship artist, embodying the essence of dedication and perseverance.

He expressed his willingness to pass on the mantle when the time is right, drawing a parallel between his journey and the growth of his label. "When the time is right to pass the mantle, I will. These artists are like my children whom I am nurturing. At the point when I feel they can run on their own, I will let them. Currently, let's be honest, they cannot manage themselves. If I leave them on their own, they will not be able to release the next song. They need guidance and support to thrive."
