In a highly anticipated reunion, the legendary Rhumba maestro, Koffi Olomide, expressed his heartfelt excitement about returning to Kenya after a seven-year hiatus. During a captivating conversation with Classic 105 morning show host Maina Kageni on December 7, Koffi shared his deep connection with Kenya, underscoring the significant role the country played in shaping his illustrious career.

Despite the hurdles, Koffi remained effusive in his praise for his Kenyan fanbase, acknowledging their pivotal role in propelling him to international stardom. "I will die on the stage, I will give the best of my soul and my heart in each song. I need to see again these people who made Koffi. Like 60 percent of my country has been built in Kenya," he passionately declared, promising an unforgettable experience at his upcoming concert.
Known for his electrifying dance moves and boundless energy on stage, Koffi Olomide assured fans that he plans to surpass his previous performances. "I plan to bring more than I did before. I need absolutely to give the best of myself," he asserted, raising the anticipation levels for the Rhumba Night scheduled for December 9, 2023, at The Dome, Jamhuri Showground on Ng'ong Road in Nairobi.
Beyond his music, Koffi had high praise for the new generation of African musicians, singling out Davido and Diamond Platnumz. Having recently collaborated with Davido on a track released just three days prior, Koffi expressed admiration for the young talents. "That's my kids, I respect and love them. They are young, they could be my sons. They have talent. Diamond is Diamond, Davido is good, the best you get in life is coming from the youth, the young," he shared, highlighting the importance of the younger generation in shaping the music landscape.
In a moment that undoubtedly stirred excitement among Kenyan artists and fans alike, Koffi Olomide declared his readiness to collaborate with a Kenyan musician, stating, "I'm ready for them. That's my last dream to work with a Kenyan artiste. I am ready. I have like four days in Nairobi. If anyone wants to meet, we talk, I'm ready."
As the Rhumba maestro gears up for his highly anticipated concert, fans can secure their tickets for an unforgettable night of music and dance. The concert, organized by Radio Africa Events, promises to be a spectacle, with ticket prices ranging from Sh6,000 (Advance), Sh25,000 (VIP), to Sh7,500 (Gate) available on Tiketiyetu.com.
