DJ Shiru, renowned by his real name Bashir Kiberu, stands as a trailblazer in this fusion, setting the stage for other DJs to embark on a musical journey. DJs Slick Stuart and DJ Roja, inspired by DJ Shiru's success, have seamlessly transformed the DJ booth into a collaborative space with some of Uganda's top singers.

Slick Stuart, hailing from Luwero district, narrated his journey from being a student at Makerere University to his venture into the music industry. His foray into deejaying began at Silk Events, owned by Elvis Sekyanzi, where he had the opportunity to showcase his skills at concerts headlined by international stars like Koshens and Sean Kingston. The transition from video editing to deejaying marked the beginning of a remarkable career for Slick Stuart.

As they navigated the music landscape, Slick Stuart and DJ Roja left an indelible mark with collaborations like 'Up In the Air' featuring Cindy and Kemishan, 'Eva' with Ykee Benda, and 'Edoboozi Lyo' featuring King Saha.
