Brymo's 'Order' concert has been a much-anticipated event in the Nigerian music scene. With its previous editions leaving fans spellbound, the 2023 version had a lot to live up to. Unfortunately, this time around, the 'sonic artiste' fell short in several areas, making it a less-than-impressive experience. Here's a review of Brymo's 2023 Order concert.

1. Lack of Branding and Partnership

For an artist of Brymo's caliber, branding and partnerships are expected to be a significant part of the concert. However, the 2023 'Order' concert was notably lacking in this department. The absence of proper signage and a clear indication of the venue left attendees frustrated and even lost. Additionally, the stage setup was underwhelming, hindering his ability to engage with the audience effectively.

2. Decline in Attendance

Despite Brymo's undeniable talent and stage presence, the concert suffered from a noticeable decline in attendance. His controversies and decisions, such as disbanding a dedicated fan section known as the 'sigmas,' likely contributed to the low turnout. The artist, who previously boasted about 1,500 fans in attendance, saw a meager turnout of only 400 people, marking his lowest turnout in three years.

3. Performances

While Brymo himself delivered a soul-stirring musical experience, the overall quality of the performances left something to be desired. Tik-Tok trending star Dotti the Deity was a highlight of the night, but the 'new band' failed to meet fans' expectations. Brymo's songs typically feature instrumental interludes that enhance the live experience, but these were lacking due to the band's performance. Fans had to fill in the gaps themselves, detracting from the overall enjoyment of the concert.

4. Punctuality Issues

Brymo's punctuality has been a subject of concern in recent years. Once known for being prompt, he has become known for late arrivals at his shows. The 2023 'Order' concert was no exception, as it was scheduled to start at 8 p.m. but didn't see Brymo take the stage until several minutes after 11 p.m. The concert ended at almost 1:30 a.m. the following day, leaving attendees tired and frustrated.

In conclusion, Brymo's 2023 'Order' concert, while still showcasing his undeniable talent and stage presence, fell short in several critical aspects. The lack of branding and partnerships, declining attendance, subpar performances by the band, and ongoing punctuality issues all contributed to a less-than-ideal concert experience. While Brymo remains a standout artist in the Nigerian music scene, this particular edition of 'Order' left fans wanting more in all the wrong ways.
