Yes, you read the headline correctly, the biggest names in the Hip-Hop world ‘French Montana’ & ‘Wale’ are now on Mdundo and you can download some of their songs straight to your phone.
For the sake of the newbie’s in the music scene who may not be too familiar with who Wale and French Montana are, I’ll give you a small introduction to these two international artists.
French Montana – born Karim Kharbouch in Morroco November 9, 1984. He’s an American rapper and the Founder/CEO of ‘Cocaine City Records’. In 2012, he signed a joint venture recording deal with Maybach Music Group and Bad Boy Records. Montana is well known for his major collaborations with Rick Ross, Nicki Minaj, Juicy J among others and some of his hit songs include ‘Pop that’, ‘Stay Schemin’.
Wale – a Nigerian American born as Olubowale Victor Akintimehin on September 21, 1984. His parents are of the Yoruba ethnic group of southwestern Nigeria. In early 2011 Wale signed on with Rick Ross' Maybach Music Group. He asked worked with the likes of Meek Mill, J Cole and Rick ross among many others.
By now you can already tell how massive this two stars are and the weight of their impact in the music industry.
Ice Prince launched his new album ‘FOZ’ for the first time in East Africa on Mdundo.com last Friday and it is in this album that he’s featured the two rappers.
