Why Spyro Isn’t Ready to Write Portable a Song

Breakout Nigerian artist Spyro has opened up on why he would never write a song for Nigerian street sensation, Portable. 
He says the differences in their musical tastes would make it hard for Portable to deliver a song that he [Spyro] wrote for him. 
Spyro told Lagos-based Cool FM that he knows Portable’s tier of music and it’s nothing close to what he can offer him. 
He also noted that he has nothing personal against the Nigerian rapper only that they have a different musical taste. 
“He wouldn’t be able to deliver the kind of music that I would write for him because it’s not his tier,” Spyro said adding “Not because I have an issue with him, but because our paths just don’t cross, like, our kinds of music don’t align. Portable.”

Spyro shot to stardom following the release of ‘Who’s Your Guy’ remix featuring Tiwa Savage. It is one of his few releases that set a stage for him in Naija’s music industry. 
The remix is his most successful song yet and it elevated his status in the industry. He said in the past that he never expected it to become so successful. 

Spyro, disclosed that he was so focused with this song because his past music trials were disappointing. He even took a loan once to promote one of his songs ‘Billing’.
