Weeks after releasing his fourth studio album ‘Timeless’, Davido sparked rumours of a joint album collaboration with fellow Afrobeats singer Wizkid

This subject has had fans from both divides talking about this whole joint collaboration album between the two artists, arguably the biggest Afrobeats stars in Nigeria
The debate has been rife for a few weeks now on social media and Davido set it to rest.

The ‘Available’ hitmaker said contrary to claims that have been circulating on a collaborative album, he hasn’t engaged Wizkid on such talks.
He said all this during an interview with Capital Extra a radio station based in London.

However, his plans for a joint tour are still on course, he added. Wizkid first announced on his Instagram page that he would join Davido on tour after completing his tour on his latest album ""More Love Less Ego (MLLE)’.

“After my ‘MLLE (More Love, Less Ego)’ tour!! Davido and I going on tour! Save your coins! I no wan hear pim,” he wrote.
Following the passing of Davido's three-year-old son Ifeanyi in 2022, Wizkid was forced to delay the release of his fifth studio album, ""More Love Less Ego.""

He allegedly drowned in the pool of their home, and the news broke right before Wizkid was about to release the record and pushed it forward by several weeks.
With Davido’s ‘Timeless’ out, the duo will embark on the joint tour soon.
