Apart from landing in the moon, I don’t think there’s anything these boys haven’t done: and believe me if there were any space stations in Kenya or if people could have rockets in their back yards they would have shot off to space. The surprise hit-making collusion of Kid Kora, Mejja and Madtraxx to form The Kansoul is what I’m talking about and their nomination in the Most Downloaded hip hop ahead of the Mdundo Music Awards is why.
The team has proved that too heads are better than one and if you could find the third it works even better! Single after the other, they make it look like they have found the secret to hacking the music industry; they load their guns and it’s the bullseye every time!
From ‘Nyongwa’, ‘Dabotap’, ‘Drum’, to their latest, ‘Moto Wa Kuotea Mbali’, these guys make it look like music enthusiasts are flies and their songs are flypaper. So will they have the rest of the nominees in the hip hop category stuck in glue as they take off with the award or will they get dirty in the mad fighting for it?
