Davido Reveals He is Married and Ready to Get Back on the Road

Just a day before the official release of his fourth studio album ‘Timeless’, Nigerian superstar singer Davido says that the fact that he is now married makes him ready for a new chapter in his music career. 

He says that the album was there even in 2022 but a lot happened and he shelved his plans to release it.  Davido reworked the album and waited for 2023 to release it. “Before I went on the break, I had an album already but we redid the album,” he told Toro Entertainment in an interview. “I travelled, it was crazy, I'm married but I am ready now to get back on road now, the album is out, it’s amazing, back on tour,” he adds.

Davido had a private wedding in November 2022 when he married his longtime lover Chioma Rowland. This was barely a week after the death of his son, Ifeanyi.

'Timeless' is a 17-track album and there are a lot of expectations with this new album since it is his first after a two-year hiatus. One of the things to expect from ‘Timeless’ is getting a taste of the new Davido and his musical wit after two years.
